GFIC Secretariat board of directors The Board of Directors acts as the governing body for GFIC, it sits at least three times a year or whenever it is necessary to assess the progress of the organization and acts as a check on financial accountability and transparency of the Executive. It is composed by outstanding members of the community and two members of the GFIC executive.

» Back to top International Senate The Senate is the highest decision making organ of the GFIC, it is composed of representatives of National, University Chapters and GFIC Executive.
It seats once every five years to elect the Director General or when it is called for by the Board of directors or the Executive. International Senate meets at the GFIC International Convention that is held once every five years. The 2nd GFIC International Convention will be held in 2011. The first seating of the Senate took place on 30th January 2006. It was composed of the founding members of GFIC who met to elect the Director General and ratify the GFIC Bylaws .
